BRINE BATH (Turkey Brine) * seasonal item

Brine Bath is an all purpose brine. You can use it for your holiday turkey. It’s also great to defrost and give back some moisture and flavor to frozen fish, shrimp or chicken. Follow the simple instruction on your jar to help you prepare a delicious meal.

Instructions for brining your turkeys.

-Pour whole jar into 4 cups of boiling water, stir until dissolved.

-Cool brine with ice.

-Put turkey & chilled brine into a brining bag or cooler.

-Add additional ice water to fully submerge the bird (We like to add beer or white wine or apple juice to enhance the flavor and the acid help tenderize the meat)

-Keep on ice or in the refrigerator for 24 hrs.

Be sure to rinse turkey with cold water & pat dry. We suggest mixing Herbes de Provence & Roasted Garlic Pepper with butter & coat your turkey. Stuffing some of the seasoned butter under the skin.

Roasting times are based on the weight of your turkey.
